Teaching The ToF Sensor

Note: The following video was filmed on an iJetColor 1175 so there are a few design differences, but the process is nearly identical on the 1175C

The Top of Form, or ToF, sensor is the optical sensor on the iJetColor 1175 Envelope Press which is responsible for detecting when paper enters the printhead area. The sensor is designed to detect contrasts between the blue belt and the stock. Calibrating, or "teaching", can be necessary when the color or luster of the media is different from what is normally run, resulting in the sensor not detecting the media properly. This video will show you the procedure for teaching the ToF sensor.
